Hello again!

  Well we are getting very close to our reopening so I think it's about time that you had our solid plans in one place so here we go!

(Wow! When we open it would have been 3 months almost to the day since we last opened our doors.)

WEDNESDAY

(Oh that felt soooooo good to write!)

So our new opening days and hours are going to look like this for the first month

until the official start of school Summer Holidays in Brighton & Hove

WEDNESDAY 11am - 2pm

 (30 minute Staff mask siesta!) 

2.30pm - 5pm

FRIDAY   11am - 2pm

 (30 minute Staff mask siesta!) 

 2.30pm - 5pm

SATURDAY  11am - 2pm

  (30 minute Staff mask siesta!) 

 2.30pm - 5pm

SUNDAY   11am - 2pm

 (30 minute Staff mask siesta!) 

2.30pm - 5pm

We are initially only accepting credit/debit card payments as opposed to cash.

As mentioned in the past few posts

  You are more than welcome to pay in advance 

of Wednesday 24th

Just let me know after Friday 19th June because at that point we would have seen the invoice for all stock shipping for the 24th and can give you an accurate total.

This would work by me sending you an itemised list of all comics that we are holding for you on standing order and once you confirm that it's correct or would like to add or subtract titles I'll send you a PayPal invoice link and once it's paid you can just come over to the store and pick up

without having to hang around in a queue-

&

 the aforementioned will be short because we are limiting 

3 CUSTOMERS MAXIMUM 

in the store at any one time.

&

only 1 customer upstairs at a time.

I know it's a super pain but the layout/size of the shop dictates that and I hope you understand that's it's for everyone's safety to keep a 2 metre social distance wherever possible.

We will have a member of staff managing the door to make this new social awkward totalitarian dictate as stress free as possible.

We will all be sporting Dave's Comics masks and will be wiping down surfaces & shelves & doorknobs & just about everything throughout the day so please forgive the lemony zest that will be permeating within our walls and no doubt wafting down Sydney Street and beyond.

(We would LOVE to see your masks home made/shop bought whatever but your forgiven if you forget to pack one.)

Now in closing you may have been aware of the news that broke over the weekend regarding 

DC COMICS decision to  stop using DIAMOND US&UK as a distributor.

Two new Distributors have got the exclusive distribution rights worldwide and we are currently in the process of applying for an account with Lunar Distribution.

Lunar are trying to figure out how they can best serve the UK with timely and most important of all

affordable shipping and hopefully the next time I post all of this will be sorted.
