Swoon Soon-ish! LOEG - Century: 2009

If you have a couple of hours to kill (and I could murder two at the moment) then you could find a lot less entertaining and informative way of passing the time than watching Alan Moore's recent webchat which was conducted to raise money for the Kickstarter Campaign to fund a Harvey Pekar Library Statue (see here) in Cleveland.  There's a quick run through of the golden nuggets contained within on BleedingCool (see here) but the headlines include news that League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - Century: 2009 (Knockabout) is complete and off to the printers and will be followed, maybe even by the end of the year, by Nemo: Heart of Ice of which he said:

“It takes place in Antarctica and [the work of H.P. Lovecraft] is a major component. You figure it out.”

Alan Moore chats with Harvey Pekar statue contributors (FULL) from Chris Thompson on Vimeo.

There was also, of course, plenty to gossip over including comments about Grant Morrison, Before Watchmen, digital comics, Jerusalem and magic for beginners.
