It's another gigantic week of first issues here at Dave's, so if you're itching to start something new now is definitely the time to come in store. I'm extra excited because one of my favourite Marvel characters, the once-presumed-dead-but-of-course-this-is-comics fuzzy blue elf we know and love as Nightcrawler makes his triumphant return in AMAZING X-MEN #1! Also in the Marvelverse we have the official Beginning of the End of Ultimates, in with the five part mini-series CATACLYSM: ULTIMATES LAST STAND. Occasional member of the X-Men Longshot gets a chance to prove just how lucky he really is in the four part mini LONGSHOT SAVES THE MARVEL UNIVERSE, and cult favourite Painkiller Jane returns in her own four part miniseries PAINKILLER JANE: THE PRICE OF FREEDOM. Heading across the multiverse to DC, there aren't any new series beginning this week, but we do have some of your favourites arriving in store, like BATMAN BLACK AND WHITE #3, SUPERMAN UNCHAINED #4 and FOREVER EVIL #3. There's also a special reprint edition of JUSTICE LEAGUE #1 for just £1, which makes it a great starting point to catch up with this title.  Image comics are having a great week as well, with FATALE #18 (finally!), EAST OF WEST #7, superhero/detective comic PROTECTORS INC #1 and ADAM + ADA #1, an unlikely romance between man and machine.  There's also Gail Simone's all female-created LEGENDS OF RED SONJA miniseries, a brand new REGULAR SHOW series, and a TRANSFORMERS team-up several years in the making.
