September is Event Month here at Dave's, and it all kicks off this Wednesday! Just like last year's popular Villain Month specials, this year DC has stand alone FUTURE'S END tie-ins with collectible '3-D' covers across most of their range of titles. Over at Marvel there's the finale for summer's ORIGINAL SIN event, as well as the beginning of the DEATH OF WOLVERINE miniseries, which runs weekly throughout the month. There's a host of debuts starting as well, with Peter Milligan's modern thriller THE NAMES, creepy SILENT HILL DOWNPOUR, pulp adventure in GRENDEL VS THE SHADOW, surreal science-fiction/fantasy/adventure/whatever-it-wants-to-be GOD HATES ASTRONAUTS, a new series in Stephen King's Dark Tower world in THE DRAWING OF THE THREE: THE PRISONER, and the Merc with a Mouth faces off against the unluckiest unpowered Avenger in HAWKEYE VS DEADPOOL. Also in store: ANGEL AND FAITH, SOUTHERN BASTARDS, BLACK WIDOW, MIRACLEMAN, JUSTICE LEAGUE,  UBER, MY LITTLE PONY, and ROCKET RACCOON.
